Lush Bath Bomb Haul || Thunder Snow, Golden Wonder etc.

Lush Bath Bombs

Can you believe I’ve never tried a bath bomb before? I know, where have I been! Luckily, my friend Emily (Thanks Emily!) hooked me up with 3 Lush Bath Bombs. That’s right, 3 LUSH. BATH. BOMBS and let me tell you, they smell heavenly! From left to right we have, Golden Wonder, Thunder Snow and Shoot for the Stars. I believe Thunder Snow is a new addition this winter so if you’ve been eyeing it, you’re in luck because it’s the one I tested out for this blog post! If you want to know more about my experience with Lush’s bath bombs, check out the rest of this post!

Lush Bath Bombs

‘Shoot for the Stars’ – Key Ingredient: Brazilian Orange Oil

Lush Shoot for the Stars

‘Shoot for the Stars’, has a soft and relaxing scent. One of the main ingredients is honey but it isn’t overwhelming. I imagine myself soaking in this after a long day.

Scent: 4.5/5

Update: Loved this bath bomb! The stars don’t melt as fast as the bath bomb itself which was pretty cool. The glitter wasn’t too hard to remove from the bath bomb which was also great. Smelled good but definitely prefer ‘Thunder Snow’ from the three scents!

After Use – Scent: 4/5, Performance: 4.5/5

‘Golden Wonder’ – Key Ingredient: Cognac Oil

Lush Golden Wonder

‘Golden Wonder’ has the most vibrant scent from the three. It smells fresh but at the same time, festive. Perhaps the festive aspect comes from the fact that it’s shaped as a gift but adorable, nonetheless.

Scent: 3/5

Update: I tested out this bath bomb and I’m not a big fan of the scent. It smells like cleaning products..:( However, performance wise – my skin felt smooth and the bath turned a beautiful teal colour!

After use- Scent – 2/5 Performance: 4.2/5

And last but certainly not least,  ‘Thundersnow’ – Key Ingredient: Peppermint Oil

Lush Thunder Snow

‘Thunder Snow’ smells sweet, romantic and happy. It has a subtle cocoa and peppermint aroma which feels so festive and warm. I also noticed a slight crackling effect from this one which I’m not sure is consistent with their other bath bombs but I really enjoyed it! Overall, I’m really glad this was the first bath bomb I tired – def. met up the hype!

Scent: 5/5 Bath Effect: 4/5 Skin Benefits: 4.5/5
